Running Issue Campaigns in L.A. (old)

Campaigns are not just for running for office, but they are all political. On Weds. June 3 at 6pm PST, the National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC) LA Metro will host a lively discussion, free, on Zoom, with three powerhouse women who have run some of the fiercest issue campaigns in Los Angeles.

From short terms rentals to rideshare access at airports to the multi-faceted viewpoints on the minimum wage ordinance, Lisa Gritzner, Veronica Perez, and Courtney Torres will share their expertise on: choosing and keeping clients; the ethics of getting behind an issue; steering clear of dirty tricks; gaining, predicting and keeping votes; coalition building; and their successful strategies as women navigating a male-centric business.
